Makeup can be Cost-efficient…Can’t it?

Do you ever feel the need to just throw on some makeup to feel alive again? No? Just me? Aw! I believe that makeup is the key to putting the entire outfit together. Yes, shoes make or breaks the outfit, however, makeup is what seals the deal!

Well the other day I was thinking about how fortunate I am to be able to spend my disposable income on makeup and makeup and even more makeup! For example, a reputable brand foundation can range from $10 (drugstore) to $100+ (luxury)! And that is only foundation! There is also concealer, contour, bronzer, highlight, blush, lip liner, lip gloss, powder, mascara, and oh man the list goes on and on and ON! Coming from a mathematical background, even if I choose the cheapest option for each product, that is still atleast $100 spent on makeup and who even said it will get the entire job done! That is when I thought about challenging myself and seeing if I can outsmart myself by buying all these products.

I have the infamous James Charles palette which is available on Morphe.com I tried to use the entire palette for my entire face, however I did cheat and used mascara and tinted primer which can count as skin care or just a base to prep my face! It was an extremely fun challenge to do and the key with makeup is to just have fun with it! At the end of the day you can just wash it off and your face will go back to a blank canvas!

I only used the James Charles Palette to do my entire face with makeup! Watch till the end for the final results!

“Blend but don’t blend in”

Review of The James Charles x Morphe Palette:

Extremely pigmented, although it does stain the eyelids! This is because they are pressed pigments rather than just regular eyeshadow. The mattes blend like butter and the shimmers are blinding as ever! I love how there are two sizes for this palette, and this palette also includes blush and a highlighter!

The makeup video was filmed in less than 30 minutes because of how easy it was to blend, although I don’t think I would ever use the entire palette on my entire face again…it was worth a try! The look did come out nice in my opinion, however I still like my normal face products!!! Foundation & concealer is a must!

I also enjoy how it is an affordable price for top quality, and you can also use code ‘James’ for 10% off! You’re welcome & no this is not a sponsored post! I honestly just love this product & the company Morphe! ….and who doesn’t like saving a buck or two?

Rating: 5 out of 5.

For those who are extremely interested in makeup, I am no makeup professional but I can definitely recommend a few of my favorites who are James Charles, Tati, Laura Lee Los Angeles & Jeffree Star. Yes, I know I listed a bunch of controversial names all in one sentence but trust me they are talented in their own ways!

This is also my first time talking about makeup on this blog rather than fashion, I did figure that the two go hand in hand together but for my personal feedback please like this post and use the applause icon to let me know if I should continue with makeup posts as well!…Or if I should just stick to what I know best and that is fashion and being unique!
